Women's Mission Groups

Missions Descriptions

The groups are:

American Baptist Women's Ministries
Fifth Avenue Baptist Church's American Baptist Ministry is committed to serve Jesus Christ and His church. This ministry, through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit,provides opportunities for every woman to develop their relationship with God and to build and serve God's community. All Circles are very involved in the local ministries in Huntington.

Circle #1
Evening study group of middle age women. This groups meets at 7:30 pm on Tuesday after the first Thursday each month in homes.

Circle #4
This group of young mothers was formed just a few years ago. Their focus is Christian service. They meet at 9:30 am in the church parlor on Tuesday afther the 1st Thursday of the month. A nursery is provided.

Circle # 7
This circle is made up of working, middle aged women who are committed to mission projects in the local area. They meet on Monday after the 1st Thursday in homes

Circle #11
Service and fellowship builds this circle of women whose children are all out of the home. This circle meets the 2nd Thursday of the month in homes

Circle #2
This is a new circle that began mid-year 2007. This circle is made up of young women early in their careers and marriage. This circle meets on the 3rd Monday of each month in designated homes.
